시공간을 넘어선 블로그나 트위터등 을 통한 소셜네트워킹의 시대에 우리가 살고 있는 이 시대는 과연 진정한 소통을 위한 유토피아의 실현인가 하는 물음을 던져본다.악플로 건강하지 못한 공공커뮤니케이션의 영역, 거대자본에 의한 상업적인 문화코드에 의한 일방적 소통 등 아직도 진실한 소통을 위한 길은 멀다.
나의 작업은 Naver.com, daum.net, cyworld.com, facebook등 우리나라의 거대자본에 의해 운영되는 대표적인 싸이트와 소셜 네트워킹 사이트의 메인화면이 컴퓨터 코드에 의해 이미지가 해체되면서 텍스트만이 스크롤된다.
